These double chocolate chip and marshmallow cookies are stuff of chocolate lovers dreams. I saw a photo of marshmallows cookies months ago, and thought they would be great with dark chocolate. These are some of my favorite cookies I’ve made so far. They’re rich and decadent, perfect with a glass of milk.
2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa (I used Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/8 cups butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup of chocolate chunks or chips
1 cup of mini marshmallows
In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together the butter and sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs, vanilla, and cocoa; then gradually add the flour mixture.
Once mixed, stir in the chocolate and marshmallows.
Roll dough into balls, and place onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
