A bourbon-based moscow mule made with homemade peach simple syrup
Peach simple syrup
1 cup peaches, sliced (fresh or frozen)
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Peach Kentucky Mule
2 ounces peach simple syrup
2 ounces bourbon
1 ounce lime juice
For Peach Simple Syrup
In a saucepan pan, mix the peaches, sugar, and water together on low heat until the sugar dissolves.
Allow the mixture to cool and pour into a blender, and blend until smooth.
Strain liquid and store in the fridge until ready to use.
For Peach Kentucky Mule
In a cocktail shaker combine the simple syrup, bourbon, and lime juice, and shake until combined.
Pour into an ice-filled copper mug, top with ginger beer, and enjoy.
