White Chocolate Buttercream

Fluffy and rich white chocolate buttercream recipe, the perfect frosting for your next dessert.

  • 24 ounces white chocolate

  • 4 sticks butter (2 cups)

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1/8-1/4 cup milk or heavy cream

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla


  1. Place the chocolate in either the microwave for 30-second intervals or a double boiler until completely melted. Allow chocolate to cool slightly, but not harden.

  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and melted chocolate, until combined.

  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the bowl, mixing until fully incorporated.

  4. Add the milk and vanilla to the bowl, mixing until combined. The frosting should be a fluffy, smooth consistency.
