Sharing one last cocktail recipe before the holiday! This cranberry apple sangria is perfect to serve through the entire holiday season. The best thing about sangria is that you can make it in advance and it’s perfect for groups.
Ingredients:
1 bottle apple whiskey
1 bottle white white wine
1 cup spiced cranberry simple syrup
2 gala apples, chopped
2 Granny Smith apples, chopped
1/2 cup cranberries
1 orange
Champagne, optional
Directions:
In a large pitcher, combine the whiskey, wine, simple syrup, apple and orange slices, and cranberries.
Stir and chill overnight.
Top with champagne when serving
Notes:
For spiced cranberry simple syrup, combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup cranberries, and 2 teaspoons mulling spices in saucepan. Allow to simmer on low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved and berries burst for about 5-10 minutes. Strain liquid and allow to cool before using.
