It’s officially time for fall treats, which means it’s time for crisp apples, salted caramel, and all things pumpkin spice. I decided to kick off my fall recipes with a Sparkling Apple Sangria mocktail. I have to say this is one of the best sangrias I’ve had. It's full of flavor; the cranberry and pomegranate juice create a red wine taste that pairs perfectly with the citrus and cinnamon. I love when mocktails are good or even better than a regular cocktails.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup cranberry juice
1 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
2 oranges, juiced
2 limes, juiced
1 cinnamon stick
3 apples, cubed
Sparkling apple cider
Directions:
In a large pitcher, add and mix the juices together.
Add the apples and cinnamon, cover, and place in the fridge for at least an hour.
When ready to serve, remove from the fridge, stir, and pour into ice-filled glasses.
Top with sparkling apple cider, and enjoy!
Note:
The key to a flavorful sangria is time. You want to allow your sangria to sit for at least an hour, but preferably 2-4 hours before severing. This allows the juices to infuse with the cinnamon and fruit.
