A Spiked Shirley Temple, made with vodka and homemade cherry simple syrup
Cherry Simple Syrup
1 cup cherries, pitted (fresh or frozen)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Spiked Shirley Temple
4 ounces cherry simple syrup
2 ounces sour mix
2-4 ounces vodka
ginger ale or sprite
For Cherry Simple Syrup
In a saucepan pan, mix the cherries, sugar, and water together on low heat until the sugar dissolves.
Strain liquid and store in the fridge until ready to use.
For Spiked Shirley Temple
In a cocktail shaker combine the simple syrup, sour mix, and vodka, and shake until combined.
Pour into an ice-filled glass, top with ginger ale, and enjoy.
