Oatmeal Cranberry and Chocolate Cookies

Soft and chewy oatmeal cookies filled with dried cranberries and chocolate chunks.


  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon warm spice mix

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup quick oats

  • 1/2 cup cranberries

  • 1/2 chocolate chunks


  1. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, warm spice, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, and gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixture, making sure not to over mix your dough.

  4. Once mixed, stir in the oats, cranberries, and chocolate.

  5. Roll dough into balls, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees until the edges are golden.
