Brown Butter Shortbread Cookies

A delicious nutty and buttery twist on the classic shortbread cookie recipe


  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 cup brown butter

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt


  1. In a large bowl, use a mixer to cream the butter and sugar.

  2. Add the vanilla, flour, and salt and mix until combined.

  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough and cut cookies in desired shape.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
